French djs/producers duo Polo & Pan met in 2012 behind the decks of Parisian hip nightclub Le Baron, where both were and still are residents, sharing the same appetite for leftfield club music, analog electronics, exotica and cosmic disco.
In 2013, the duo begins working on the production of their very own material with the acclaimed single Rivolta, and quickly partners with Hamburger and Ekler’o’shock records for their debut EP.
Polo, the one who reminds us of Tom Sawyer, is half american half french, and draws his inspiration from his frequent trips abroad (his amazing EP, Roudani 434, recorded in the Moroccan Atlas), his love for rare instruments, orchestral soundtracks and field recordings, as well as from the transformation of an industrial space into a creative place, the SIRA.
Based in Asnières and located 15 mn from Paris center, la SIRA is an incredible spot, where Polo built his studio, surrounded by contemporary artist, plastic designers and his partner Anatole from the Mad Agency collective. The place is now officialy the HQ of the Polo & Pan upcoming studio adventures.
Peter Pan, youngest of the duo, is an incredibly versatile dj with a culture ranging from hip hop to psyche, classical to french kitch gems. He’s been djing all around the world for Le Baron nights (New York, London, Miami, Basel, Venise), and is a 10 year resident of the Calvi On The Rocks after parties.
He recently co-founded the encyclopedic webradio Radiooooo, confirming his reputation as a music activist and digger hors-pair.
